How does an AI visibility scan work?
The short answer
An AI visibility scan systematically checks how AI systems perceive a brand: which topics they connect with it, which competitors they recommend and which sources shape their answers. In the Infera scan that happens across five AI systems along five to ten topic clusters — as a one-off report for €249, with optional monitoring afterwards.
Step 1: a briefing, not prompt lists
You name your website, three to five competitors and optionally the topics you care about — nothing more. Infera develops the topic and prompt logic from your market, offering, competitors and search intent. That avoids the most common mistake: measuring only your own assumptions.
Step 2: the scan across five AI systems
Infera checks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Google AI and Copilot with relevant decision questions — the way real customers ask. A picture emerges per topic cluster: how visible is your brand, how visible are the competitors, where do wrong categorisations arise?
Step 3: a report with measures
The result is the AI topic authority scorecard, containing:
- Visibility level per topic and AI system
- Competitor comparison (topic authority index)
- Source and signal analysis
- Prioritised measures by expected effect
